What do I know more about than most other people?

John is truly a master of astronomy. He knows so much about amazing astronomical events. Most of us will be oblivious to these details in our lives, because we just don't know about them. For instance, do you know what an 'Iridium flare' is? They're really amazing things - and so much fun - and frankly what some UFO reports boil down to. Check out heavens-above.com and learn about them, then check out cloudbait.com and learn about fireballs. They're both fun websites that people put up dedicated to their favorite subject matter.

Pay attention to the ads on the right side of the heavens-above.com home page. This person has created a web site dedicated to his favorite topic. He provides an amazing amount of free content. He places subtle ads on his site and because of the popularity these ads create an income stream that pays him for maintaining the website more than if he tried to sell something directly. Keep this example in mind when we talk about using your computer as a resource.

From Abraham Lincoln:

It is said an Eastern monarch once charged his wise men to invent him a sentence to be ever in view, and which should be true and appropriate in all times and situations. They presented him the words: 'And this, too, shall pass away.' How much it expresses! How chastening in the hour of pride! How consoling in the depths of affliction!
